No More Poverty

Julian and Michael Omidi – Co-Founders of No More Poverty

Poverty afflicts almost half of the world’s population. Worldwide, parents struggle to clothe, feed, and provide for their children. Parents work ten to twelve hour days to afford simple necessities like food and shelter, and they see the ability to save for their own or their children’s future as a luxury that they cannot afford. In countries like Burundi, Liberia, and Malawi more than 90% of the population lives on less than $2 per day. It is time that we start allowing the people of the world to not just survive, but thrive.

No More Poverty’s Mission

Poverty is more than just a simple lack of money as it affects the ability to obtain food, shelter, education, health care, and much more. Our goal is to increase the standard of living and quality of life for everyone living on this planet. This is a difficult task that will not easily be solved overnight, but we are dedicated to providing assistance in any way that we can to those suffering around the world.

How can we achieve this goal? At No More Poverty, we partner with charities and organizations that combat poverty in all of its forms. To help assist the impoverished we have supported charities that supply food to the hungry such as Raphael House in Northern California; we have sought to aid the homeless through our support of shelters and permanent housing facilities such as those provided by Mercy House; we have supported non-profit organizations that provide arts education such as NURTUREart and The Story Project; we have also helped charities that provide programs to teach the impoverished financial literacy such as Operation HOPE.

How You Can Help

The most important part of our efforts is you; with your suggestions and involvement we can finally change the pattern of impoverishment that is rapidly consuming so many good and hard-working people. Help us build awareness of the charities we support by sharing information through your social media and connect with us to provide your own suggestions about what non-profits you support that we should assist next.

There is no limit to what No More Poverty can achieve with your help.
